Item Description

Time Proved Performance
Because of its relatively "compact" size, this model offers the greatest degree of placement flexibility in the Heritage Series line. First introduced in 1957, the Heresy, a three-way design, started out as a compact center channel speaker. Today, the new Heresy III has a more powerful woofer, a bi-wire network, and a titanium diaphragm tweeter with a larger magnet assembly. The midrange compression driver also features a new titanium diaphragm.

Improved Sensitivity
All of these changes result in improved tonal balance and increased output. In fact the Heresy III is three decibels louder (96 to 99dB), improving on its already high sensitivity. In addition to delivering smooth, dynamic and low distortion sound, the Heresy III is available in a high-quality cherry, walnut or black ash wood veneer finish. Included is a slant riser base for floor placement that can be removed for cabinet installations.

The Heritage Heresy III 12" Floorstanding Speaker by Klipsch is available in the Peoria, Bloomington-Normal, and Peru, Il area from Sherman's.

Collection Description

Heritage Series

Relentless perfectionist, audio pioneer and holder of 23 patents, Paul Wilbur Klipsch started his namesake company with the creation of the Klipschorn® in 1946. Fifty years of continuous innovation later, Paul was inducted into the Engineering and Science Hall of Fame, putting him in the company of Thomas Edison and the Wright Brothers, among others.

Paul’s goal was to reproduce the dynamics and excitement of a live orchestra performance in his living room. An engineering breakthrough when it was introduced, the Klipschorn® remains one of the most highly praised loudspeakers in the world and is the only loudspeaker that has been in continuous production for over 60 years. With extremely high sensitivity, this three-way, fully horn-loaded loudspeaker utilizes the walls and corners of the listening room as part of its design. Able to span more than nine full octaves with rich, smooth, ultra low distortion sound, it’s easy to see why the Klipschorn is truly “A Legend in Sound®.” La Scala®, The Cornwall, and Heresy were created after to complement and enhance the Heritage collections, manifesting a magnificent series like no other.

The Heritage collection is a great option if you are looking for Home Audio in the Peoria, Bloomington-Normal, and Peru, Il area.
